Getting Ready for Vela
What Vela does for a family — and how to be first in line when the app ships.
What Vela is
Vela is a voice-first assistant for the whole family's logistics — the calendar, the tasks, the shopping list. You talk to her the way you'd text a friend, and she turns it into a shared, organized week everyone in the family can see.
No spreadsheet, no group-chat archaeology, no per-person app to enforce. One shared picture of the household.
What you'll be able to do
Talk naturally. No commands to memorize —
"Add dinner with Oma on Friday at 7."
"What's on the calendar this week?"
"Move that dentist appointment to next Tuesday."
Send a voice note. Faster than typing, and Vela's built for it — a sentence in the car becomes a filed event with a reminder.
Snap a photo. A birthday invite or a permission slip becomes dates and to-dos.
Keep a shared list. Groceries, the Costco run, party supplies — whoever's closest crosses things off.
How to be first
Vela is free during the beta, and the dedicated app is on the way — iOS first, Android after. The one thing to do now is join the waitlist: we'll write the moment it's ready, and waitlist families get three months of Vela Compass free at launch.
That's it. Add your email, and the next message you get from us is "it's live."
